P. Joynt, juet outside the corpor- ation, in Egmondville, was completely destroyed by fire. The barn was Wee- el-by easel-by Messrs. Merner & Fee and they had in it at the time two teams of working horses, a valuable delving mare and Dolt, a car load of finished flax fibre, 30 tons of hay, 450 bushels of oats, harness, two mowers, a new wagon and other articles, and these were completely destroyed. The fire was first noticed about 1.80 but had gained such 'headway by -that time that it was utterly impossible to res- cue any of the stock or content.. The clan who looke after the stock left the building about six o'clock the pre - sous evening and no one connected with it had been in the barn after that hour, ee that the cause of the fire is a mystery.
