-A very painful accident occurred to
Johno the eight year old son of George Gar.
ton, of West Wawanosh, on .$unday of last
week. He was trying to turn a cow that
she might not get through the swamp near-
by,when she made a furious rush and struck -
him in the lower j'Aw with her horn, tearing
'his lip badly and knoclLing out nearly all of
the teeth in the lower jaw, together with
some parts of the jaw adhered. It will be
a long time before be can recover, and he,
will likely wear an ugly scar where the
wound now ig.
