learn that Mr. Robert Broderick, one
of the oldest and most respected em-
bers of this society, is forced to tesign
his position as director on account of
continued ill health, and while we ex-
tend oar sympathy o him in his pro-
tracted illness we e : ress the hope that
his health may yet improve, and that
a kind Providence May yet see fit to,
spare his life for many yea-rs lof useful-
ness as the guardian of his family, and
the joy of his home. The meting then
adjourned,. _ the directors reeolving to
spare no effort to make the Zurich Fall
Show for 1884, the best ever held by the
society.
