—A few days ago a child about one
year of age, belonging to Mr. Geo. Dun-
can, of Brandon, wandered from home
and fell into a well. The , water in the

top. The mother of the child noticed it
falling in and promptly gave the alarm,,
and a number of men rushed to its
assistance. By means.of a ladder he'd
