Shocking- Murder in Hamilton.
About half -past 9 o'clock on Wednes-
day morning, Mr. Nelson Mills, a prom- -
'=i inent and an old and respected citizen of
t` k Hamilton, was murderously assaulted by
Michael iif cConnell, a butcher in the
market. McConnell. is a tenant of Mr. ,
Mills,, and :vas in arrears for rent. A
` landlord's warrant was issued and exe-
'f ; cuted by ;Bailiff Smith. McConnell's.
