18 Times -Advocate Wednesday, November 19, 2008 Cancer fundraiser Walk for the cure A sizeable crowd braved snow and slush Sunday to participate in Ks for Carol, a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Participants walked from Lucan to Arva via Wonderland Road in honour of Carol Maslen, a cancer patient and employee of Murphy Bus Lines.Though the final tally was uncertain at the time of the walk, organizers expect between $3,000 and $5,000 was raised.
