Big Sisters of
South Huron.
"A Salute to Broadway" takes
place Nov. 20-21 at South Huron
Rec Centre. Doors open at 6:30

the shows run.
Homuth said
she and musical
director Cecile
Muller had a
wonderful re-
sponse from
the community
when they first
called for vol-
unteers for the
show. About
55 people have
volunteered
their time to
perform, and
Homuth said so
many people ex-
pressed interest
that she eventu-
ally had to start
turning people away.
"A Salute to Broadway" will fea-
ture singing and dancing from a
variety of Broadway show tunes
going back to the 1920s. The show
will include an MC and the seat-
ing will be
arranged so
the audience
surrounds the
performers.
Before each
number, the
audience will be told which show
the song comes from.
Homuth said she expects "A Sa-
lute to Broadway" will run about
two hours and, while she doesn t
have a specific fundraising goal in
mind, she hopes the first show can
be used to cover expenses, while
all profits from the second show
will go towards Big Brothers Big
Sisters South Huron and the Ex-
eter Habitat for Humanity build.
