Plan number 2-3.694' HOMEY" THREE-BEDROOM Gables always make a house more homey, and this handsome three-bedroom structu e, with its mul ple gables, is no exception. At this house's heart, on the second floor, is an open-plan living and dining area. The living room features a gas fireplace, sure to make this space a magnet for family activities in the cooler months. Both the living and dining room enjoy french doors that open onto a sundeck, half of which is covered. Flowing from the dining room, the kitchen features a U-shaped counter configuration. There is a window over the double sink, and a pantry will provide always -welcome storage space. A broom closet is located a few steps away. Overlooking the front garden is the master suite, which includes a walk-in closet and ensuite. The ensuite includes a shower stall, as well as a soaker tub. With a tiled surround, the tub is tucked into a bayed -out space with a high window. The second and third bedrooms are exactly the same size and share a three-piece bathroom. A washer and dryer are situated in a closet nearby, across the corridor from the linen cupboard. On the ground floor, a panelled door with sidelights opens into a compact foyer. To the right is a den, ideally located to serve as a home office, and ahead are the stairs to the second floor. Adjacent to the den is a roughed -in three-piece bathroom, together with two future bedrooms. The remainder of the ground -floor space could be made into a studio or recreation room. Double doors lead out to a covered patio. A secondary suite or mortgage -helper would be ideal here. The two -vehicle garage could provide just enough space for a small workshop. Exterior finishes include horizontal siding, decorative pilasters and painted trim. A round vent in the gable over the garage lends a touch of old-fashioned charm. This home measures 38 feet wide and 42 feet deep, for a total of 1,353 square feet of living space, plus the unfinished basement. Plans for design 2-3-694 are available for $520 (set of 5), $580 (set of 8) and $628 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax.
