The Times Advocate, 2008-09-24, Page 28Wednesday, September 24, 2008 TIMES—ADVOCATE 27 Announcements/Community Cards of Thanks BECHLER - I wish to thank my fami- ly, relatives, friends and neighbours for the sympathy cards, phone calls and visits after the sudden passing of my dear sister Mrs. Tony Etue Dorothy (Oesch). To Rev. Peter Poel of St. Boniface, Zurich for his com- forting words and the girls for their message in song. Also to the ladies of the church for providing a delicious lunch after the service. Thank you to all. Sincerely Gladys Bechler (39*) WRIGHT - To lose James, as a son and as a brother, has left a void in our lives that will not be filled easily; how- ever, we are truly blessed to have been given so much support over the course of the last few weeks through the gen- erosity of phone calls, emails, visits, floral arrangements, mementoes, sym- pathy cards, thoughtful messages, as well as kind words on the street. We have appreciated the support of the Queensway Retirement and Nursing Home Staff in Hensall for their care and compassion. We have appreciated the many visits from family, friends and neighbours and from Reverend Charles Love. We appreciate the sup- port of the families and friends in the Brucefield and Kippen neighbour- hoods as they continue to provide sup- port for Brenda and the children. We also appreciate those who have offered their advice and assistance with the many farm related tasks. We want to thank Norene Tebbutt and family who prepared meals for the Wrights' who had travelled a distance to attend the service for James. We want to thank Gwen Devereaux and Ray Devereaux who invited us to their home for some respite and a meal between visitation times. Thanks to all of our friends who took the time to prepare a deli- cious meal and for knowing what we needed better than we did ourselves. Thanks to Reverend Marybeth Wilson and to all who made the service a very special one. Thanks to those who spoke so kindly and compassionately of their unique perspectives during their remembrances of James as friend, father, uncle, and cousin. Albeit, each of us lives in a different community, we are truly thankful for all the varied supports that have helped to ease our sorrow. Esther Wright, Eleanor and Jim Henshall, Lois and Wayne Tebbutt, Gordon and Dianne Wright. (39*) °S”Vf4 GRflD.,=10 I.
