C Cards of Thanks D
For you're no longer here.
The hurt has dulled, the pain is less,
But the loneliness stays,
And in the quiet of the night,
I think of all the ways,
We spent our lives in joy and sorrow sharing
every care.
We had a good life you and I,
For love was always there.
I thank you Homer for loving me,
For making life so fine,
I was so proud that I was yours,
So thankful you were mine.
We'll meet again some day and never part,
Till then your face lives in my mind,
Your love lives in my heart.
Forever loved and remembered your wife
Marilyn, Greg and Launda, Brenda and Greg
and families. (37*)

It's September again!
Another year has passed without you dear,
I've been alone for six years,
GLOVER - In memory of Pete Glover who
left us 5 years ago on September 8, 2003.
Pete,
It's been 5 years and I still miss you every
day,
Thanks for leaving me with 2 amazing kids
and a new granddaughter to love.
They make sure I never get too lonely.
Missing you always, Kathie and family (37*)

and Dad, Edna (September 8, 1998) and

259 Cards of Thanks
DATARS - Many thanks for all your prayers,
phone calls, visits, cards, flowers, gift baskets
and get well wishes at the time of my
surgery. Special thanks to Pastor John, Dr.
Lawlor, Dr. Harris and associates and all the
great nurses at Victoria Hospital. Special
thanks to Janet, my home care nurse. Thanks
to my family for all your love and caring.
Howard. (37*)
FARWELL - We wish to express our sincere
thanks and appreciation to all our family,
friends and neighbours for the love and sup-
port at the time of John's death. Special
thanks for the prayers, mass offerings, chari-
table donations, food, flowers, cards and
emails. Thanks to Joyce and her staff, to
Father Peter Keller, Father Peter Poel and
Deacon John for their compassion and care.
We are grateful to the C.W.L. for preparing
the luncheon, and to all who contributed to
such a beautiful mass. Cecelia . (37*)
MCLEAN - One thing I have learned recent-
ly is that it is very humbling, but at the same
time, very gratifying to have a "special"
birthday. Many thanks to my wonderful rela-
tives, great friends and neighbours, at the cot-
tage and at home in Exeter. I so appreciate
the long trip that some of you made to be
there. Sincere gratitude for the many bottles
of wine (my favorite), the fantastic gifts,
beautiful flowers and the many, many lovely
cards and tributes. What was written meant
so much to me, and has touched me deeply.
Thanks to Wendell Claxton and his steelband
for entertaining us with my favorite music.
Thank you to Johanne Johns and Between
Friends Catering, whose delicious food and
service were second to none, as always.
Extra special thanks to our children and
grandchildren who bring so much joy into
our lives. Thank you to you Kim - my rock,
my guiding light, my happy face and my rea-
son to be. You make me a better person. At
the age of 60, my guideline for life is quite
simple - It's not the years in your life that
count, but the life in your years, so live while
you're alive - Just do it! With sincere appre-
ciation and gratitude for all that you have
done for me. Angela (Bonnie Gay McAvany
Sweitzer) McLean. (37*)
RATZ SULLIVAN - To the ladies of the
Crediton United Church and area, thank you
for your overwhelming generosity. Your gift
will be well used for our new home in the
future. We greatly appreciate all you have
done. Sincerely, Megan and Todd Ratz
Sullivan. (37*)
ROHDE - I would like to thank the many
people who sent me birthday cards, to
Marion Cann, to Bill Gibson, to the Old
Tyme Gang who had a party for us for our
wedding anniversary at the Riverview Estates
Club House recently. Thanks again. Bill and
Rhoda Rohde. (37x)
