Randy and Lee -Ann Johnson are happy to announce the arrival of Justin Jeffrey Paul Johnson on July 25, 2008 at 5:46am. He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 inches long. (37*) 256 Deaths BLOM - After fighting a courageous battle in his last five years, Nicholas Theodorus Blom, with family by his side, passed away peace- fully at Seaforth Community Hospital, on Saturday August 30, 2008, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of his loving and caring wife Annie. Dearly loved father of Elizabeth Moir of Seaforth, Willy Groothuis of Kitchener, Mary and Mark Vandyk of Cambridge, Rita Savauge and John Hackett of Cambridge, and Annette and Ron Hak of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by four brothers in Holland. Nick was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth, having served on the parish council for many years, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Friends were received at Box and Smith Funeral Chapel, 47 High St. Seaforth, on Monday September 1, 2008. Mass of the Christian Burial was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth, on Tuesday September 2, 2008. Father Christopher Gillespie officiated. Interment St. James Cemetery, Seaforth. As expressions of sym- pathy, memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
