By Rhoda Rohde
THAMES ROAD CORRESPONDENT
THAMES ROAD - Church service: Judy Mills of
Centralia United Church welcomed everyone to the
Community of Local United Churches church service on
Sunday morning in Kirkton United Church shed.

the opening prayer.
Everyone sang the hymn Amazing Grace with Beth
Cooper of Thames Road Elimville Church on the key-
board. Mike Brine of Woodham Church sang Create In
Me A Clean Heart accompanying himself on the key-
board. Dave Williams of Woodham United Church read
the Scripture Mark 11:22-24 and then Dave told the
children a story "Wake Up God" which was very inter-
esting.
Everyone sang the hymn Be Thou My Vision. Lauren
Benoit of Kirkton U.C. read the Scripture Luke 19:1-10.
Rev. Nancy Wetselaar of Kirkton-Woodham U.C. told
the story to the children about Zacchaeus and played
her guitar. Beth Cooper, Judith Parker, Marilyn
Vandenbussche of Thames Road sang a lovely number
accompanied by Mike Brine on the keyboard.
Dave and Eleanor Williams, Lauren Benoit and
Darlene McBride received the offering while Rob Essery
of Centralia sang How Great Thou Art accompanied by
Judy Mills.
Mr. Peter Gummow of Centralia gave the offering
prayer. Everyone sang the hymn Jesus Loves Me.
Sharon Lynn of Thames Road - Elimville Church read
selected Scripture verses from Exodus 3 and 4.
The story "The Call of Moses" with Karen Etherington
portraying "The Lord" and Rev. Judith Ritchie of
Thames Road - Elimville portraying Moses was well
done.
Mike Brine and Rev. Judith sang Pharaoh Let My
People Go. Mr. Peter Gummow said prayers for the peo-
ple. Everyone sang the hymn Tell Me The Stories of
Jesus.
Mr. Peter Gummow said the benediction and grace
before a lunch of hot dogs and ice cream sundaes were
