The business won silver and bronze at the International Wine Competition in Manchester, Vermont, bringing the number of awards won by Pints Unlimited to three gold, seven silver and five bronze at international wine competitions over the past nine years. The Wernhams received silver for their German Gewurztraminer and bronze for their Chocolate Raspberry Port. The competition saw a record 4,321 entries from 48 American states, eight Canadian provinces and six countries judged in 50 different cate- gories. `Arabian Nights' celebration Volunteer award — Midwestern Adult Day Services recently celebrated their volunteers with an Arabian Nights event in Grand Bend at the Royal Canadian Legion. Receiving a 10 -year volunteer service award was Exeter Day Centre volunteer Evelyn Josephson, above left, presented with her award by executive director Anne Rollings.The day was filled with information pre- sented by education co-ordinator Maggie Brennan of the Alzheimer Society of Huron County, Montessori Training and an afternoon of belly dancing in keeping with the Arabian Nights theme.About 82 volunteers attended the celebration and the agency Annual General Meeting.
