Library patrons are now able to sign out a 'Kill -A -Watt' power meter the same way they sign out other library materials. The device allows users to check the power usage and efficiency of any electrical device in the home. The meter was presented to Hensall librarian Susan Windle May 22 by Irene McInnes from Festival Hydro. The meter has a large LCD dis- play that is used to show con- sumption by the kilowatt-hour (kWh). McInnes said the donation is in time for Energy Conservation Week which runs May 25-30. Each day of Conservation Week sees a different theme ranging from Electricity Impact Day on Monday to Save the Watt Wednesday.
