The guest speaker was John G. Powers of Cambridge. John spoke on butterflies, intriguing the group with a great deal of information about them and more, including prizes. There was also a mini flower show and plant sale. At the Granton -Wesley United Church on Sun., May 11, Dylan Jones lit the Christ candle. Pastor Paul Vollick led the service and the message GRAN was entitled "Gifts and Talents." The Scripture readings were from Acts 2 and 1 Corinthians 12. Time was shared with the young people of the congregation. The congregation presented pastor Paul and Lucy with flowers and a gift on the occasion of their 25th anniver- sary. Heather Benner showed a slide presen- tation of Paul and Lucy's 25 years; and cake and ice cream were served after the service.
