Beloved husband and best friend of Verdun (Wells) Lindenfield for 72 years. Dear father of Bev and Norma Lindenfield of Exeter and Ed and Marlene Lindenfield of Dashwood. Beloved wife of Jim Schroeder. Dear mother of Gary Schroeder and his wife Margo of Fergus and Todd Schroeder of Cambridge. Proud grandmother oof Tyler, Hillary, Jesse and Zachary Schroeder. Born in Ashfield Township on November 26th, 1917 to the late Matthew Shackleton and Mary Grey. Survived by 3 children Carol Anne & Alvin Becker of Dashwood, Gerald & Sheila Shackleton of Bellwood and Valerie & Bill Krasinski of Kincardine, 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. He didn't want to be the type of person you wit- nessed. My appreciation to all those who stopped to offer me a ride in all sorts of weather.
