Queen of the Furrow —The 2007 Huron County Plowing Match was held last Thursday and Friday at the home of Bob and Carol Leeming in Huron East. Thursday was junior day, featuring the junior match and the princess contest, while Friday featured tractor and horse plowing,the Queen of the Furrow compe- tition and the barbecue dinner.Above left, Margaret Vincent, 18, ofWingham was crowned Queen of the Furrow for 2007-08.Vincent also won best plowmanship in the Queen's Plowing Division.With her is last year's Queen, Mallory Kernighan.
