The official date for "Coffee Break" is Thurs., Sept. 20, but any day in September is fine to host a "Coffee Break" event Alzheimer Huron is beginning its quest for enthusiastic and creative people to host "Coffee Breaks" throughout Huron County. Simply invite your friends, neighbours, colleagues and clients to "take a break" and make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Huron County If you were a home host last year, or held a break at your place of employment Alzheimer Huron is hoping for your support again this year. Last year "Coffee Breaks" were held throughout Huron County — 98 hosts welcomed friends and colleagues and raised more than $13,000. Ninety per cent of the money raised during "Coffee Break" stays in Huron County to help the Alzheimer Society provide education and support for per- sons with Alzheimer's disease, their families and care givers. The remaining 10 per cent raised is designated for research. Christine and Renus have one of their thousands of white squirrel pictures in the August/September issue of "Our Canada." The Freriks used to live on Andrew Street in Exeter before moving to Huron Park two years ago. The Freriks say they have been taking pictures of white squirrels for four or five years and took the pic- ture in the maga- zine behind the Ranch House Inn. Christine said she was contacted by the magazine's editor in the spring. Freriks of Huron Park "I was really surprised and excited as well" said Christine who added the editor loved the pictures and asked her several questions about the squirrels. The Freriks say they have 10,000 pictures of squirrels and have made calendars they used to sell at fairs and craft shows in the area. 519-236-4979 Hwy #84 between Hensall & Zurich Open: Thurs. to Sat. 9 am -5 pm Bill & Rosemary Ferguson /stogss the E._ NEW CROP HONEY NOW ON TAP!
