Two bacteria associated with chicken are Camplobacter and Salmonella and they can be very deadly. Ensure the packaging is intact on purchase and keep these juices away from other foods. Also, wash your hands thoroughly after preparing chicken for cooking. And be sure it's cooked well before serving. If you can't tolerate the fresh garlic, look for supplements with at least 1.3 per cent alliin on the label. Do you know what your blood pressure is?
