EXETER — The OPP is con-
tinuing its search for 22 -year-
old Jesse Norman Imeson but
have found the silver 2006 GMC
Z71 Sierra cab crew pickup,
stolen from the Regier farm-
house.
Imeson is wanted for the slay-
ings of three Southwestern
Ontarians, including Mount
Carmel residents 72 -year-old
Bill and 73 -year-old Helene
Regier found in their farmhouse
on Bronson Line July 23.
Imeson is also wanted for the
strangulation killing of 26 -year-
old Carlos Rivera of LaSalle,
who was found in
Imeson's Windsor
apartment July 19.
A citizen found the
pickup Monday around
7:00 p.m. in eastern
Ontario in a heavily
wooded area off of Kerr
Line in the White Water
Region near Renfrew.
The vehicle is being
held and awaiting exam-
ination by the Forensic
OPP Unit.
The Renfrew OPP, East
Region Emergency Response
Team, East Region K-9 and OPP
air units are conducting an
extensive and thorough search
of the area.
In other reports police say
they have investigated 100 tips
that Imeson is in the Windsor
area, saying there is a chance
Imeson could be there for his
toddler daughter.
Imeson also has several
friends out west, according to
his Facebook account.
Police say they have received
tips from citizens throughout
Canada claiming to have seen
Imeson.
The OPP were also investigat-
ing another stolen vehicle July
22 from a residence on Babylon
Line two concessions east of the
homicide location.
The vehicle, a Ford Taurus,
was found by an OPP plane in a
dense bush on Rodger Ville
Road, south of Zurich July 25.
No one was located in or
around the vehicle.
Also stolen from the residence
were two long guns and ammu-
nition. There was no mention of
the guns as the T -A was going to
print yesterday (Tuesday).
Forensic examination was
completed Sunday and police
are satisfied the Ford Taurus is
not linked to the homicides.
The OPP Criminal
Investigation Branch (C.I.B.) and
the Windsor Police
Service are investigat-
ing the homicides joint-
ly.
At a news conference
at the South Huron
Recreation Centre in
Exeter July 24, OPP
Det. Insp. Dave

meson
Windsor Police told
media and members of
the public not to approach
Imeson if he is seen.
"The suspect Imeson is
believed to be armed and
extremely dangerous," said
Cardwell.
"I need to reiterate the impor-
tance that if Imeson is locat-
ed...no attempt should be made
to apprehend him. He is consid-
ered to be armed and danger-
ous," Cardwell added.
In more recent news,
"America's Most Wanted" has
joined the hunt for the fugitive,
filming in Exeter yesterday
(Tuesday) and in Windsor
Monday, including footage of the
Windsor police headquarters
and Imeson's apartment.
It was unknown as the T -A
was going to print where the
television crew would film in
Exeter.
Imeson was also briefly fea-
tured on "America's Most
Wanted" last Saturday night. He
is also featured on the show's
website.
The OPP issued a national
warrant for Imeson's arrest
July 22.
On July 25 forensic patholo-
gists who conducted the post
mortem at the London Health
Sciences determined that Bill
and Helene Regier died as the
result of gunshot wounds
between the evening of July 22
and July 23 at 1:20 p.m.
Reports also surfaced but
have not been confirmed by
police, that the Regiers were
also tied up.
At the news conference Insp.
Cardwell said the couple could
have been killed up to 20 hours
before they were found.
The OPP also addressed con-
cerns that had they continued
their intensive search for
Imeson, the Regiers may not
have been killed.
Donnelly defended the deci-
sion to end the intensive search
July 22 around 1:30 a.m., close
to the crime scene.
"I am personally satisfied the
area was thoroughly searched,"
adding the OPP did not com-
pletely end the search for
Imeson. Donnelly also said he's
certain Imeson wasn't in the
five -kilometre area when the
search was minimized by police.
In another report, 19 -year-old
Lindsey Glavin of the Huron
Park area was spotted with
Imeson in Exeter at Gar's Bar
July 19 around 9:30 p.m.
Reports say they left around
11:30 p.m.
Reports say Glavin and her
immediate family are under
police protection.

ment commander Shawn
Johnson of the Huron County
detachment expressed his deep-
est condolences to the family
and friends of the Regiers.
"It is my hope and that of the
police community that you may
fmd some consolation in know-
ing that we share your grief.
"This isolated, random act of
violence has created a height-
ened sense of fear, anxiety and
suspicion in a community that is
normally quiet and peaceful.
My concern is that because of
this public focus there will be a
tendency for embellished fear
and anxiety to develop.
"As detachment commander I
have been working along side
our dedicated investigation
team being lead by CIB Insp.
Dave Cardwell. You have my
assurance that we are pooling
every resource available to
locate and apprehend Jesse
Imeson.

lic safety. Locking doors and
vehicles and looking out for
each other shouldn't be a
change from our normal rou-
tine. These are everyday crime
prevention measures.
"The OPP remain committed
to your safety and security."
Imeson is approximately six
foot one, 200 pounds, with very
short almost shaved brown hair,
brown eyes and numerous tat-
toos on his arms.
The OPP say by this point
Imeson may have changed his
look, noting that the tattoos are
of great significance in finding
him.
The Huron County OPP have
also established a TIPS line
assisting in the homicide investi-
gation of all three victims. The
phone number is toll free at 1-
877-584-8477, which anyone
can call to report information
they may have pertaining to
either investigation. The TIPS
phone line will be staffed full-
time until further notice.
