Judith Ritchie was in charge of the regular church service on Sunday morning. Rev. Judith lit the Christ candle. Everyone sang the opening hymn Will Your Anchor Hold? Rev. Judith gave words of welcome and everyone passed the Peace. The Introit We Praise You For Your Love was sung. Rev. Judith led in the call to worship responsively, and the opening prayer in unison. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Jean Hodgert. Rev. Judith gave the announcements. Don Bray lit the red candle for Peace. Rev. Judith read the Epistle Lesson, Galatians 6:1-6, 7-16. Rev. Judith told Justin Pym about "Footsteps on the Journey of Faith." The Lord's Prayer was sung in uni- son. The choir sang Jesus Is the Joy of Living with the men singing one verse accompanied by the pianist Marilyn Vandenbussche. Don Bray read the Gospel Lesson Luke 10:1-11, 16-20. Rev. Judith's message was entitled "Travelling Light." Everyone sang the hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful. Everyone read "The Apostles Creed." John Batten and Helen Kadey received the offering and everyone sang Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow and read the offertory prayer in unison. Rev. Judith had prayers for the people. The hymn I Feel the Winds of God Today was sung. Everyone read the commissioning and benediction in unison and sang the Choral amen. Announcements Rev. Judith will be at the church noonish until 2 p.m. For the services for July 15 and 22, if you have announcements for the bulletin, please contact Helen Kadey at 228-6484. On Sun., July 22 after the regular church service there will be a pot luck lunch. Please bring dishes and cutlery. For the month of August while Rev. Judith is on holi- days, in case of a pastoral emergency or pastoral care, contact John Miner at 229-6345 and he will put you in contact with the appropriate person. July 16 - Out of the Cold program -the outreach com- mittee is looking for four volunteers to help out starting around 4-4:30 p.m. If interested please contact Joan Skinner at 235-1379. July 14 - 20 - Hensall.by.design Art Show and Sale at Hensall UC Admission is $5. Monday is Senior's Day and admission is $2.50.
