Judith Ritchie was in charge of the regular church on Sunday morn- ing. The Introit was sung and Rev. Judith gave words of welcome and people shook hands. Rev. Judith gave the announcements and lit the Christ Candle and led in the Call to Worship responsively and every- one read the opening prayer in unison. The gathering hymn "Holy, Holy , Holy" was sung. Sharon Lynn gave the Council Report. Affirmation of our Faith "A New Creed" was read in unison. Rev. Judith lit the red candle for Peace. The children's hymn "I've Got Peace Like a River" was sung with actions. The Lord's Prayer was sung. The choir sang "Come Holy Spirit" accompanied by the pianist Marilyn Vandenbussche. Psalm 29 was read responsively. Rev. Judith read the scripture lesson Romans 8:5-17(a) and the title of her meditation was "In Spiritus Alive and Well." Hymn of Praise "Guide Me, 0 Thou Great Jehovah" was sung. Joan Morgan gave a Minute for Mission : "Healing For the wound- ed." Dennis and Sandra Rowe received the offer- ing. Everyone read the offering prayer. The closing hymn "Blest Be the Tie That Binds" was sung. Rev. Judith gave the Commissioning and everyone read the Benediction and sang the choral chorus.
