Help make Wingham
Canada's Hockeyville

WINGHAM ADVANCE -TIMES
WINGHAM —Wingham
has made it through to
stage three of the Kraft
Hockeyville Contest.
The town's bid for
Hockeyville is once again
looking to the surrounding
communities for support
as the contest enters the
homestretch.
On a request from the
CBC, Wingham is being
encouraged to collect all
the letters and e-mails they
can to take to the taping in
Hamilton June 6 and 9.
Families, friends and busi-
nesses from across Canada
are invited to say why they
think Wingham deserves
to be Hockeyville. The
more communities that
show support for
Wingham, the better.
The Wingham Puck -Hogs
also plan to arrange a bus
trip to the June 9 taping in
Hamilton when the top 10
communities will be
announced on air.
When sending your com-
munity endorsement, be
sure to include who you
are, where you're from
and why Wingham
deserves the Hockeyville

The taping of the next
video will begin May 16 at
6:30 p.m., with a rain date
of May 17.
What's next?
On June 6, Hockeyville
will air the one minute
videos on CBC. The videos
will be judged and voting
will take place via phone,
e-mail or text messaging.
Once the votes are in, the
top 10, finalists will be
announced for the bid to
be Canada's Hockeyville.
A perfect shot
EXETER — Sunday is
becoming a happy day for
golfers at Exeter Golf Club
— for the second Sunday
in a row recently, the
course was home to a
hole -in -one.
Exeter's Kathy McLean
shot a hole -in -one on
Mother's Day on the 135 -
yard third hole. She used
a pitching wedge for her
memorable shot, which
she says was her first
hole -in -one, "and proba-
bly my last."

South of Highway 8, Zurich-Hensall Road (Co. Rd. 84), Dashwood
Road and Thames Road (Co. Rd. 83) and Perth Line 20 West of
Highway 23, Kirkton Road (Co. Rd. 6), Crediton Road (Co. Rd. 10),
Mount Carmel Road (Co. Rd. 5), Parr Line (Co. Rd. 31), Goshen
Line (Co. Rd. 2), Bronson Line (Co. Rd. 2), Grand Bend Line (Co.
Rd. 81), Airport Line (Co. Rd. 21), Hern Line (Co. Rd. 11), roadside
