Discussion of health topics
CREDITON- The Crediton Women's Institute met at
the Crediton Hall on Wed., Oct. 25. President Alma
Davey was in charge of the business meeting.
Members voted to donate to the Huron Perth
Agriculture and Water Festival. The roll call, "What I
do Just For Myself' was answered by eight members.
The motto was "Current Health Issues".
Benefits of Massage
Cheryl MacLeod and Chris Vanhie chaired the pro-
gram. Cheryl read the Celtic customs of Halloween.
Guests were Kendra Craig and Rosemary Mastalerz of
Bio -Connections in Exeter and Dashwood. Rosemary
explained the benefits of massage therapy. Some
ladies enjoyed a massage. Kendra told of the services
available and both ladies answered many questions.
It was a very beneficial meeting for all who attended.
A very delicious lunch was served by the program com-
mittee. The next meeting is Nov. 15 at the home of
Lois Brownlee at 8 p.m. when members will be making
a Christmas decoration.
Church News
Remembrance Day was observed Sunday morning at
Crediton's Zion United Church. Cubs and Scout mem-
bers Malcolm Macgregor and Bradley
Schwartzentruber laid a wreath and Rev. Sheila
Macgregor's sermon was entitled, "Not Far From the
Kingdom". Special thanks to Ruth Haines and Don
Finkbeiner for organizing the Remembrance Day dis-
play.
Following the service, pictures were taken of the vari-
ous groups and committees in the church to be includ-
ed in the photo directory. Photos of church members
are being taken this week.
Rev. Sheila Macgregor will be on a study leave from
Future student — Jacob Finkbeiner, shown with
mother Marie, was one of the students registering at
Exeter Public for kindergarten Nov. 3. (photo/Pat
