IT IS A GREAT TIME OF REST AND RELAXATION AS WE SHARE FOOD PREPARATION AND CLEANUP BETWEEN OUR FAMILIES. IT HAS BEEN OVER 15 YEARS OF AT LEAST ONE WEEK A SUMMER AND OUR KIDS ENJOY FOOD SPECIALTIES FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE CAMP! THE FOLLOWING DIP IS EASY TO PREPARE AND HAS BEEN A WINNER WITH KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE FOR YEARS NOW, ACTUALLY THINK MY KIDS WOULD BE DISAPPOINTED IF GRACE DIDN'T MAKE IT AT LEAST TWICE OVER OUR HOLIDAY TIME. I USE THE RECIPE AT HOME MANY TIMES AND HAVE EVEN PREPARED IT FOR FOREST CLIFF CAMP WHILE COOKING IN THE KITCHEN THERE. ENJOY! DILLY DIP equal parts sour cream and salad dressing finely chopped onion (1/2 of a small onion for I cup of mixture) dill weed (I tsp per cup) Mix all ingredients and serve immediately or will keep for two days in the fridge. 1 use fat-free sour cream and light salad dressing or light mayo and my kids still gobble it up. Great with veggies or chips. Get ready to submit your favourite "Back to School Snack Idea" to me at debby_wags@hotmail.com or in a sealed envelope to Times Advocate front office.
