Queensway residents enjoy trip to racetrack
HENSALL - Fun &
Fitness started the week
at Queensway as resi-
dents gathered on the
deck outdoors for their
thrice -weekly exercise
session. Following the
physical workout it was
mental aerobics to stimu-
late the mind using vari-
ous games. In the after-
noon the Kippen United
Church women were in
with assistance & prizes
for the bingo enthusiasts.
Lori Burt RMT provided
massage therapy to many
grateful residents
throughout the day.
Tuesday morning eight
residents gathered
around the oak dining
table in their family dining
room to participate in the
breakfast group program.
Bacon, eggs, toast, & fruit
with coffee & tea complet-
ed the menu. Residents
enjoy the variety of dining
companions and opportu-
nity to have their eggs
made to order while they
watch. Volunteer Lillian
Beer assisted with the
program.
The Rev. Lil Wilton of
Caven Presbyterian
Church in Exeter led wor-
ship Tuesday afternoon
with Belva Fuss as volun-
teer organist.
Barbecued Hotdogs,
Hamburgs & Salad were
served to Nursing Home
residents Wednesday
afternoon outdoors in the
courtyard. The sunshine
along with a slight breeze
contributed to a wonder-

POLICE BRIEF
Grocery store theft
EXETER — On July 14 OPP answered a call at
Hansen's Independent Grocery Store.
The officer discovered a woman had been inside
the store buying groceries. An employee allegedly
saw the woman put items into her purse. She paid
for some groceries and left the store. The woman
was stopped and other items, not paid for, were
located inside her purse.
A 50 -year-old woman from South Huron has been
charged with theft under $5,000.
