St. Patrick's Parish in Lucan celebrates 150 years
St. Patrick's Parish in
Lucan is 150 years -old
and the congregation
celebrated the mile-
stone last weekend
with two outdoor
masses, a Saturday
night dance and a
Sunday afternoon filled
with food, fun and
local entertainment.

of the Roman Line and Highway 4. It's one of the
cornerstones of Lucan and Biddulph Township.
Twenty-six priests have served in the parish over its
150 year history. The longest -serving priest (25
years) was Father James Mackesy.
