SH 4 vs Stayner I
The third game of the
tourney found the local
team in a very close game
with lots of chances by
both teams. South Huron
opened scoring with five
minutes remaining in the
second period. Adam Hall
started a fine passing play
back to Zach Sereda at
the point, who passed
over to Josh Denotter left
of the opposition net who
returned the puck back to
Hall to produce the first
goal.
South Huron scored
twice midway in the third
and finalized with an
empty net goal after
Stayner had come within

goal in the tourney
against South Huron
goalie Cadyn Lightfoot.
Gold medal game vs
Stayner
After a full day of pass-
ing time keeping busy,
South Huron played a
delayed gold medal game
against Stayner, a team
they had defeated in
round-robin play. The
Sabres started slow allow-
ing Stayner to jump ahead
1-0 within three minutes
of start of game. Stayner
went ahead 2-0 within
another five minutes of
the first period. This is
how the game ended with
South Huron all around
the Stayner net but
unable to bury the puck.
