ST. MARYS — Two of Exeter's synchronized
skating teams collected bronze medals at the
2005 Bert Winfield Classic Synchronized Skating
competion in St. Marys on the weekend.
It was the last competion of the 2004/2005 sea-
son and was a huge success for all the teams,
according to coach Kathy McLlwain.
The Adult 'A' Classics and the Master Classic
team each won bronze.
The Adult 'B' Classics took sixth and the Junior
Classics placed fifth.
McLlwain said all the Exeter teams had excel-
lent powerful skates Sunday and it was a great
way to end the season.
"We had another amazing winter on the ice.
Each team set realistic goals and was able to
reach above and beyond them.
"I appreciate all the respect and comittment my
skaters have to myself, their teams the managers
and executive that make our club a sucess and
wonderful to be a part of."
Three of the Exeter teams will be at the Exeter
Figure Skating Carnival Saturday night at 6:30
p.m.
The Masters will also be at the Zurich carnival
Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bluewater Community
Centre in Zurich.
The Synchronized fundraiser `Ladies Nite Out' is
