Finnegan's Irish Pub in Grand Bend recently held Fear Factor, which saw contestants
undergo a variety of stunts.The first challenge at the March 5 finals was for contestants
to collect five articles of clothing from the audience with the fastest time. Secondly,
contestants had to eat worms, with the number of worms to be eaten determined by
throwing a dart at a dart board.The third challenge was bobbing for potatoes. Finally,
Shannon Harris and Dan Durdin faced off in the last event, where they had to spoon up
a bowl of blended dog and cat food, sardines, a raw egg, a raw oyster, baby beef liver
and Limburger cheese. Durdin was deemed the winner by eating his brew in a time of
36.4 seconds, compared to Harris's 38.98 seconds.Above, Harris gulps down the
strange concoction in the finals, while below, Durdin gets ready to eat some worms,
while Finnegan's owner Roland Watterworth announces. Durdin won $1,000 in the
contest and donated $250 to the Buck for Luck muscular dystrophy fund. Harris won
