Draw prizes were given out to Ilelen Hindle, Doris Edwards, Marie Wilds, Marshall Dearing, Joe Wilds, Phyllis Case, Ilene Rollings, Iva Blair and Martin Andrews. Virgina Warwick spoke on having sponsored chil- dren from Chernobyl on Feb. 1. On Feb. 8 Shannon Ryan from the Independent store demon- strated making a beautiful Valentine flower arrange- ment. This was later won by Marshall Dearing. During the next two weeks, children from Precious Blood School pre- sented their speeches. Faye welcomed new indi- viduals to the program and mentioned new mem- bers are always encour- aged to attend. A card was sent to Marion Frayne and her family on the sudden death of her husband Stan. A card was also sent to Helen Hindle. The entertainment for the month of March will include Mary F. Dow and the Christie Brothers, Ray Cann, Jean Hodgert and Harry Jeffery musical band, a speaker from Shoppers Drug Mart, Carole Gascho, Elaine and Jim Scott. The exercise program continues. All are welcome to come for the fun and exercise Wednesdays 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lions Youth Centre. Foot care appoint- ments can be made by contacting 235-0258.
