Water testing not
being done by
municipality
EXETER —
Municipality of South
Huron staff are advising
residents that a compa-
ny advertising water
testing is not affiliated
with the municipality.
Dennis Hockey, man-
ager of operations for
South Huron, said
attempts to contact the
company were unsuc-
cessful so they could not
confirm it was the same
company that was
reported to be making
calls for water testing
last year.
Hockey said two resi-
dents had contacted the
municipality within the
last week after being
asked to have their
water tested.
"They're looking to sell
water purifiers is what
they're doing," said
Hockey.
"From our past experi-
ence, what has hap-
pened, although we
can't say that about this
company because we're
not hearing it, is they
come in and do water
tests and say your water
is terrible...and try and
scare people."

Laser Technology now being
offered at Body & Soul Spa!
EXETER -Exeter's Body & Soul Spa is
delighted to introduce LASER HAIR
REMOVAL as an expansion on
their Spa treatments! Laser
Technician, Therese Skinner
has called Canada home for
two years now. Previously
trained in the UK, she now
has 12 years of experience
in the Health & Beauty
industry. Having
specialized in Electrolysis
and due to hair removal
technology advances, she
has undertaken the
training necessary to now
offer Laser Hair Removal.
Having considerably
researched the available
Laser systems, my aim was to
offer clients the best results with
the minimum of risks. The Apex
diode laser stood out in a class of its own, as
it is one of the few lasers that are FDA
approved and has a unique cooling system
which reaches sub -zero temperatures,
creating an anesthetic effect, thus allowing
more energy to target follicle destruction and
sparing surrounding tissues of any damage".
This laser specializes in hair removal only
and can penetrate the skin by up to 8mm,
therefore benefiting destruction of the
follicles which lay deeper in the skin during
the active stage of growth. "Quality costs! And
it was not considered to settle for less when
purchasing this machine. After all, you
actually are only as good as your
product!"
Laser hair removal benefits
people with hair growth problems
as well as many others including
beach lovers, swimmers, body
builders, tri athletes,
"internationally, laser is widely
available in Australia as the
beaches are a big part of
Australian life. Europe has
enjoyed the benefits of laser hair
removal for many years as it is
the trend now with ever
increasing busy life to not put up
with the ever ongoing depilatory of
unwanted hair".
Body & Soul Spa and
Therese Skinner wish to invite
anyone interested in
Laser Hair Removal to an
evening seminar on Mon., Mar. 7
between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. where any
questions can be answered, along with a
demonstration of this very simple procedure
can be experienced. Please let Body and
