EXETER — Last Friday at South Huron we had a
wonderful assembly put on by the Music
Department put on for the entire school. The
Senior Concert band and the Black
Jazz band played songs that they
will be playing for Musicfest
Regionals in London this week. At
Musicfest, the bands play their
three pieces for the adjudicators,
then go into a half hour clinic with
one adjudicator to improve on
anything the adjudicator thought
was a weak spot in the piece. So
now you REALLY know what hap-
pens when the bands leave for
Musicfest. If you see a member of
the band in the hall this week, give
them a high five.
Coming up at South Huron this week:
Wednesday, March 2
• Black Jazz at Musicfest Regionals in London
• Badminton teams to tournament in Goderich
Thursday, March 3
• Not a Reading Day
• McMaster Fireball Presentation 10:20 a.m.
Friday, March 4
• Recognition Assembly, 9:50 a.m.
• Boys curling in Wingham all day
Monday, March 7
• Road Rage presentation to grade 11's and 12's,
2:05 p.m.
Tuesday, March 8
• Science Quest for elementary students, all day
Don't forget that March Break is the week of
March 14. Also, chocolate money is far past due.
