(4x) Get your tickets for the Feb. 11 Valentine's Dance By Carmel Sweeney ZURICH CORRESPONDENT ZURICH - The Exeter Synchronized Skating Club will be having their family and friends Showcase at the Recreation Centre Sun., Feb. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. The four teams will skate their programs that they will be skating in the competitions coming up. There will also be a sur- prise soloist skater and a 50/50 draw. Several people from Zurich and area attended the Canadian Championship Skating held at the John Labatt's Centre in London all last week. It was a thrill for me to be able to be there all day last Thursday and see all the famous skaters out on the ice. It is really more exciting than watching it at home on T.V. This same big event will be held in Ottawa next year. I even got Jennifer Robsons auto- graph. Thank you The Zurich Minor Athletic Association would like to thank Ron Dickert of Exeter for donating part of his winnings from the 50/50 draw worth $235 at the recent Buckeyes/Sherwood game in Zurich back to the Minor Athletic Association. It was nice to see a display there from Hessenland of St. Joseph with Frank Ihrig and fashions from Bridal Elegance of Exeter. It was a very nice day. While the vehicle was stopped on the side of the road, a full size transport trailer unit with a white cab struck the driver's side of the car, damaging it from the back to the front.
