Panther Profile EXETER — The Christmas Break is now over, and we're all trying to get back into the school routine. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, but Christmas is also a time to remember how fortunate we in North America are. At Christmas, we spend so much money on gifts, but what if we switched it up? What if we gave all the money we would have spent on presents to people who maybe never get presents? This Christmas I heard about a Youth Group in Kitchener who started the Buy Nothing Christmas. These youths give all the money they would have spent on gifts to causes that help those who need the money, and try to beat the commercialism that has become Christmas. Now, after I've said all this, let's be reminded of the major world tragedy to occur over Christmas — the tsunami. It will take years to repair the dam- age done. Anyone interested in helping raise funds for the victims of the tsunami, please see Mr. MacLeod as soon as possible. South Huron students have in the past been very generous in their giving, so let's try to help out in this way! Now, onto the events at South Huron!
