Juniors lose hard fought
42-32 basketball game
EXETER — The Panther junior boys basketball team
hosted St. Mikes Dec. 15 and lost a close 42-32 game.
The lead went back and forth before St. Mikes took
the win.
Top scorers for the Panthers were Tyler Knip and
Shawn Morgan with eight points each and Ben
Hodgins with seven.
Coach Henry Bonsma said it was a great team effort .

POLICE BRIEFS
BLUEWATER — On Dec. 18 at 3:30
a.m. OPP were called to a residence just
off London Road in Bluewater south of
Clinton over a stolen car.
The owner told police someone entered
the driveway of the residence that night
between 7:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. and
stole a 1998 dark blue Buick LeSabre.
The owner had left the vehicle unlocked
with the keys inside the car.
The vehicle is valued at $10,000 and
has Ontario Plates AMCR-908. Huron
OPP is continuing the search for the
stolen vehicle. If you have information
call the OPP or contact Crime Stoppers at
1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
EXETER — On Dec. 19 at 10:45 p.m. an
officer working in Exeter stopped a vehi-
cle on John Street. Police say the young
male driving the vehicle had his licence
suspended due to previous driving
offences.
The 20 -year-old male from South
Huron has been charged with driving
while suspended and will attend court in
Exeter Feb. 17.
