Total Receipts 1,793 head of cattle, 499 lambs and goats. Summary Tuesday: The fed steers and heifers sold on a steady market. Fancy and dou- ble muscle steers & heifers: 85 to 96.50, Choice steers & heifers: 78-83, 2nd cutsteers & heifers: 75-78. The cows also traded on a steady market. Thursday: The veal traded at prices steady to last week. The lambs sold on an active trade at sharply lower prices. Friday: Both the calves and yearlings traded at prices steady to last week. Steers There were 191 steers on offer. Kada Farms, Bluevale con- signed one red steer weighing 1455 lbs which sold to Norwich Packers for 96.50. Their overall offering of ten steers averaged 1550 lbs selling for an average price of 85.10. Nine steers consigned by Phares Kraemer, Paisley aver- aged 1474 lbs which sold for an average price of 78.43 with his top limo steer weighing 1380 lbs selling for 92.25. Amos M. Martin, Wallenstein consigned three steers averag- ing 1387 lbs which sold for 90.
