'Bend bar licences suspended
GRAND BEND — Two
bars in Grand Bend were
handed temporary licence
suspensions for violations
of Ontario's liquor laws.

Coco's both received sus-

supports World
Health Day
MIDDLESEX — The World Health Organization des-
ignated "Road Safety" as the theme for World Health
Day held April 7.
Middlesex OPP joined in with police services across
the country to promote World Health Day, given its
relevant slogan this year: "Road Safety Is No
Accident".
Middlesex OPP officers focused on roads identified
previously by citizens as areas of concern. As well, two
OPP Auxiliary Unit officers attended on Richmond
Street in the Village of Birr with the Community
Policing "Speed Sign" which indicates a driver's speed
on a LED screen as they drive by. Officers were sur-
prised at the amount of positive attention the sign
received in the village.
Charges were as follows:
• Suspended drivers: 1
• Seat -belt infractions: 2
• Speeding: 21
• All other traffic offences: 8

which is to solicit global public interest, raise aware-
