Ducharm:e Clarke wedding at Win-
dsor, over the week -end.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph 1Meek and
family of Detroit were week -end vis-
itors with Mrs. Meek's mother, Mrs.
John Charrette, of the Blue Water
south.
Mr. and .Mrs. David Ducharme are
spending a few days at London this
Week, with their .ohildren. Mrs, Du-
charme will remain in the city for
a while longer. -
The many friends of Mrs. Chris.
Erb pare pleased to meet. her on the
street looking 'so well. and feeling
fine after cher illness. They have re
turned to their appartment.

held in the town hall, Zurich, on
Thursday evening, sponsored by the
Zurich Womens' Institute. Proceeds

Mr. George Swan of Brucefield,
who is staying a few weeks at the
home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Erwin Sahil+be of town, attended the
presentation, and was master of cer-
emonies,. of the retirement of Mr. A.
L. Caseat Exeter depot, on Tuesday
eventing, when , Mr. Case was ,present-
ed with a gold filled pen and pencil
and Mrs, --Case with flowers. There
were about 60 railroad men and other
friends . present. Mr. Case ..after 31
years as agent at Hensall went into-
etirement after Tuesday, Oct., i th,
and is wide and favourably known.
