C. Fiher of St Catharines, president
of, Lions International, who also
gave a -very impressivn adaress in
which he compared a Lion Club to
a tree It needs water, care and light,
he said, and although there are
star= and blights the tree will
Boarish if planted in good soil. I'd
like eaeh'enember to feel that he is
a leaf On the tree of Lionism, It is
the duty of the leaves to take food
froM the light and the air and send
it 'back to the, Toots to 'build new
branches. 11 you prune the 'branches
olf a tree it gets that much "iiveaker,
he said. He urged the Lions to 'build
a .reputation . ter your community
wherever you go, wherever you are,
even at home. Li.ons International

just can't imagine, can't forsee what's
going to happen in the next ten years
