EVE:R;YTHING IN RADIOS AND ELECTRONICS
Was False Alarm
During the height of the euchre
and dance in the town hall Friday
night, .sponsored by Hensarl '9i'.
there was plenty of excitement when
the fire siren rang. Someone had
phoned central that the McCall Fnon-
tenac gas station in Hensall was on
fire, the news was relayed to the
fire chief Ed. Fink, who was on the
floor, dancing at the time. He im-
mediately sounded the siren, the fire
brigade in a moment of seconds had
the fire truck out and sped to the
scene of the fire, when they arrived
everything was in darkness, not even
a light was at the station. False al-
arm, time 1 a.m. Cars from every
direction drove to the scene; patrons
attending the affair !almost fell over
each other in their hurry to get to
the fire,
