Stanley of the B. W. Highway and
Mr. C. L. Smith of town visited their
father at Clinton on Tuesday, who
is recovering from the bad cold that
is going around, and is keeping fairly
well for being in his 97th year.
Pleased to report that Mrs. C.
Ayotte is feeling much better after
her illness. Her daughter, Mrs. Ed.
Lague of Detroit was with her moth-
er for a few days until she ;became
ill and accompanied her husband
back to Detroit. At present Mrs.
Ay.otte's two sons, Paul and Richard
Jeffrey of Detroit are here for a few
days.
On Trip to California
Mr and Mrs Elgin G. Snider, now
of Sarnia, are greatly enjoying a
lovely motor trip to Los Angles, and
numerous other parts in California,
and Southern States. Friends here
have been hearing from them, telling
of the wonderful trip and sights they
have seen on their way down, had
