Master Peter Cowen or Exeter,
was a week -end visitor at the home
of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs.
Ward Fritz.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. O'Brien and
children attended the funeral of Mrs.
O'Brien's brother, the late George
Smith of London, on Saturday.
Miss Isabel Purcell has returned
after an enjoyable visit at her home
with her parents, relatives and fri-
ends near West Lome, over the we-
ek -end.

funeral of the former's •Brother's
wife Mrs. John Heist at Crediton on

The Council of the Township of
Hay met in the Township Hall, Zur-
ich, on Monday, Dec. 1st at 1.30 p.
m. The following correspondence
was presented: Aux Sable River
Conservation Authority, Exeter High
School Board; Huron County Christ-
mas Seal Committee; A. H. Erskine
re: J. N. Cantin Tax arrears. The
following motions were then passed:
