Mr. Gerald Gingerich who has been
ill is improving nicely. His many
friends wish him a ,speedy redovery.

is recovering nicely after her illness.
Mr. 'Clarence Farwell of Toronto,,
was a week -end visitor with his wife
and child at the residence of Mrs.
George Farwell.

latter two are remaining for some
time visiting !relatives.

May 26, 1861, he graduated from the
Lutheran Seminary. at Kropp, Ger-
many, in 1885. He came to Canada
and was ordained to the ministry at
Rankin, Ont. He served e;trace Lu-
theran church there far over seven
years and then served at St. Peter's
Church, Zurich for twelve years!. In
1907 he accepted a call to St. Peter's
Church, Heidelberg, where' he remain-
ed until his retirement in 1921. He
was married to Louisa K. Schaefer
of 'Tavistock, who (predeceased him
in July i,980. The funeral was held
on Friday afternoon, Feb. 14th, with
service in St. ;Matthew's Lutheran
Church, Kitchener, followed by inter-
ment in Woodland Cemetery. Rev.

ed the service assisted by Rev. Dr.
