Zurich and T. H. HHoffman or Dash-
wood gave a comprehensive picture
of the system. It was pointed -out that
there were 45 new subscribers con-
nected to the (Syn em during 19464
and mane renters, The net income
for the year was $2,743.37. The
gain in ,surplus' for 1946 was $2,7.31.-
77c. Due to the demand for snore
service at Grand Bend in the last 3
years new (cables( and lines had to be
erected necessitating a considerable
expense.
It was then moved by Wm. Edigh-
offer and seconded by Roland Geiger
that the meeting be adjourned.
The Council (then met in the Co-
uncil Chamber where it began its re-
gular monthly council meeting. The
minutes of .the last regular :Council
meeting were read and the following

Co. re: placing of an H carrier ter-
minal and short course in (London,

getters for the locals.
Friday evening the Exeter Legion
Outfit visited town and handed the
locals quite a beating to the tune of

Zurich.
On Tuesday afternoon the Grand'
Bend School boys were up in Zurich
and played the loeal school team in
a very close contested game, and
the locals were this time not to be
defeated on their own ground•, by
handing the visitors a 3-2 defeat..
