BASEBALL NEWS
Zurich Lost This C:ne
Our boys were at Exeter on Mon-
day evening and lost the game by
the score of 10-6. It was one of
those games that was a bit "spotty"
some real good ball was exhibited
and then in spots both teams did a
bit of loose and ragged playing. Af-
ter the Exeter boys run the score of
4-0 in the first inning on Heineman,
with no one out, Gib Stade took over
and got along nicely till towards the
last when they seem to be getting on
to his fast ball pitching. Zurich
made their six runs I one fuming,. and
otherwise, Farhner, the Exeter pit-
cher had them under control.
Dear Shirley ---We are gathered
here this evening to show in a very
small way our appreciation of having
at some time or other shared your
companionship. Now as you are a-
bout to take another step in life, may
you be assured that you nave our
best wishes for a happy and prosper-
ous New Year.
We ask you to accept these gifts,
and as you use thein in your home,
may you have many recollections of
the trine spent in and around Zurich.
