Mrs. Christ Hoist of town. catered
to a wedding at Centralia: last Satur-
day.
Mr. Jacob Deichert is spending a
few days at St. Joseph's hospital,
London, for treatment:
Miss Clara Weber of Lond'ony, was
a week -end visitor at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs;. Lounir
Weber.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jeffrey: and
sons have moved into the rooms of
part of the home of Mrs. Peter Iaeh=
ler.
Mrs. Ezra Hoist and Mrs. Ann
Carter both of Detroit were holiday
guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs,.
Christ Hoist for a week.
Mr. and Mrs. Seth Anunans and
Mi. and Mrs. Joe Decider and dau-
ghter Nola, enjoyed a trip to Strat-
ford on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. George J. Thiel, Mr
and Mrs. Wes Hugill and Mi An-
drew Thiel of Zurich were Sunday
visitors with Mr. ,arid Mrs.. Levi's,
Thiel at Tupperville.
Mrs. Earl Thiel and children and
Mrs. E. E. Weido and family spent
the week -end in Albert Hess' cottage
on the lake front, Ducharme's Grove.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith of

ing several weeks at the home or
their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Schrag, Babylon line.

Toronto, for passing his exams,. at
Toronto University for the Faculty
of Forestry, passing with honours.

ited one day last week at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rapp of town.
The local "Owl's ,Club" en. oyed a
very pleasant fishing- trip along
Georgian Bay, Meaferd, Penatang,
and Wasago Beach over the week-
end.

daughter Patricia, Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Cook, and, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd
Cook, • all of Kitchener, were
.recent guests at the home .of their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brenner.
Sunday visitors at the home of
Mrs. Annie Turkheim were Mr. and
Mrs. Finnigan of ,Seaforth and their
Daughter Miss Alma Finnigan, R. N.,
of Toronto; also Dr. C. Quinlan and
Mrs. Myrtle Graham, Reg. N., of
Stratford.
Mr. Ed. Brenner of Kitchener, who
is at London receiving his honorable
discharge of Army Service this week,
was accompanied with his aunt, Mrs.
Emma Racey of that city who spent
Tuesday at the home of his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. John Brenner. •
Miss Inez Yungblut, Mrs. Flossie
Brown, Mrs. Joe. Swartz were visit-
ors at London on Tuesday and were
accompanied home by Miss Patricia
O'Dwyer, nurse -in -training at St.
Joseph's Hospital in that city and is
holidaying for a few weeks at the
home of her parents, Dr. •and Mrs.
P. J. O'Dwyer.

Heads Huron Football
At the annual meeting of the Hur-
on Football Association the fallow-
ing officers were elected: Jas Carlin
President; Moody Holland. Vice; A.
W. Dick, Secy-Treas. It was decided
that entry fees will be $5 and re-
ferees' fees $2 per game, plus 10c
per mile one way.

Zuvich. Mr. Oscar Klapp has sold
a lot next to his home to Mr. Harry
G. Hess. Mr. Herb Mausseau -has
sold a lot to Mr. Kenneth Breakey,
and Mr. John Gascho has purchased
the lot between the Evangelical par-
scnage and Mr. Sol Zimmerman's
place, from the Evangelical church
property, So with these purchases
of loth when building materials be-
come more plentiful, there will like-
ly be some building going on in
Zurich when that time comes.
