Mr. Foster was barn in t. After giving up the brick yard he started cementing and the drilling of wells. Mr. Foster is in comparatively good health, has retained a youthful spirit and is deeply interested in all current events. When the weather is favourable he takes his daily walks for the mail. He still has a sprightly step and has never used glasses. His Wife died 13 years ago. There is a family of four sons and two daughters: Louis of Kitchener, Alb- ert of Biggar, Sask; Alphonse, of Hensall; Alex of London; Mrs. Mat- ilda Deitrich on the Foster home- stead and Mrs. Jacob Battrer with whom Mr. Foster resides. the kindness shown during their bere- avement. Professor Kalbfleisch dwelled on poetry of the past, some of the deeper meanings of it were brought, and in his closing remarks touched on the necessity of Zurich restoring again its library which has been dormant ?or some years. The speaker had to close long before he was through owing to oth- er meetings which followed immed- iately after. HYMENEAL A pretty wedding was solemnized by Rev. C. J.
