SUCCESSFUL FROLIC Zurich Lions Club staged their first frolic last Thursday evenint, as Wednesday night was rained out, so it was held the following night. The weather being ideal, the crowd which was around the; 2500 mark was be- yond expectatitni,and the fun and merrymaking was_beyond words. Ev-. eryone just seemed to. be out for 'a good time. The net proceedswill a- mount to around $2,000. whieh will give the newly organized club a good start in their activity work. Much credit is due to the Exeter Club who were present in large numbers and who were a big help in getting things going. The various games and booths were kept quite busy, the bingo kept on till after midnight. The dance was very much enjoyed, ad was the play- ing of the Centralia Air Force Band, Earl Heywood's numbers were well received,and the affair was officially opened by Tory Gregg of Wingham.
