versity. Dr. Vivian will be leaving
for his MoGill post before the end of

of an appointment yet 'being made.
T. Kyle reported and asked about
getting some more cups for the hall
as several have been broken.'was in-
structed to secure about 8 dozen if
possible.
E. Fink reported as to the Fire
Dept. as needing more hose and sug-
gested securing 11/4 hose instead ,of
the . regular 21/4. Motion, that we
order 150 ft. of 11/2 hose, 1 nozzle,
1 controlling nozzle, 1 reducer to11/2
and other equipment.

ews of Windsor and Mrs. Joe Meid-
Inger of Hensall, called at the home
of Mi. and Mrs. -Wm. Thiel on Sun-
day.
Mr. Henry Krueger ot Dashwood
plucked a blossom of one of his har-
yest apple trees last week. This is very
rare at this time of the year with,:eo
few apples .anywhere in :this district.
We are pleased to hear the tree con-
tained a few apples which will be a
treat for the family. Probably the
tree realieingthe scarcity of apples,
thought it would start all over again.
