The Hydro people surely lia.d big heart the past six months, as they did not render acounts during that time. The reason being that we were entitled to a rebate of 30% of our 1944 accounts, and how nice it was not to have these accounts stare us in the face every second month. The St. St. Peter's Lutheran Sunday ;School held their annual picnic on Wedn:esday afternoon which was a decided success. Rev. C. B. Heakendorn officiated at the wed- ding recemony. . The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory brocaded satin with lace yoke exten- ding into a panel front,the sleeves fulT at the shoulders tapered to points over her hands. A becoming wreath et orange blossoms held in place her embroidered net veil which fele to the end of the train on her dress. She carried a cascade bouquet of red Briarcliffe roses and white Bow- ardia and wore her grandmother'.s pearls. Helen Ruth O'Brien, attend- ing her sister, the bride, ar maid of honour, wore a floor length gown of orchid crepe. Her matching floor length _veil was held in place with white flowers, and she carried a cas- cade bouquet of white carnations and asters. Miss Dorothy Weber, sister. of the groom, as bridesmaid, chose a long gown of maize sheer over taff- etta. She carried a cascade bouquet of orchid asters. Little Wwendolyn Smith, cousin of the bride, as flower girl was lovely in her long dress of orchid crepe with a matching halo. She carried a colonial bouquet of Johanna Rill roses. The groom was attended by his brother, Sgn. J. W. Weber, who has just returned from overseas. Mrs. John Tuerkheim, A.T.C.M., played the wedding music. Miss Marion Smith of London, cousin of the bride, sang "I'll Walk Beside You" at the beginning of the service and "Oh Promise Me," during the signing of the register. The ushers were LAC.
